About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Product Management to lead our in-vehicle security solutions division. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in product management, who can drive the development and execution of a comprehensive product strategy, ensuring our continued market leadership and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, ensuring high standards of performance and excellence in execution.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Drive the vision for the in-vehicle security solutions, constantly seeking to innovate and stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
- Collaborate with peer product management directors to identify and leverage synergies, fostering a cohesive and integrated approach to product development and innovation.
- Work with the product management team to develop full lifecycle solutions, from ideation to development, launch, and ongoing enhancements, ensuring a comprehensive and seamless customer experience.
- Generate new ideas and concepts that contribute to the growth and expansion of market share, while enhancing the overall customer experience.
- Act as a product evangelist, building awareness and understanding of our in-vehicle security solutions among internal stakeholders, clients, and industry partners.
- Engage with potential and existing clients to gather feedback and requirements, ensuring that our products meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure the successful launch and ongoing support of products.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to inform product development and positioning strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Engage with strategic partnerships and lead necessary contract negotiations
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in product management
- Solid technical background in cyber security related to operating systems, embedded or network protocols
- Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- 3+ years of managerial experience
- Experience in successfully engaging international customers and willingness to travel abroad
- Innovative leader with a bias for action
- Ability to set and articulate a strategic vision that inspires and motivates the team
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills in English
- Advantage: Experience with automotive and transport industry and technologies (i.e. AUTOSAR, QNX, ADAS, etc.)
