What a month! After catching the media’s attention (see Forbes article) and issuing a press release regarding a significant remote vulnerability Argus found in the technology of a leading aftermarket telematics service provider, we also took part in three major industry events: Telematics Update 2014 and Escar Europe 2014 in Germany and a Workshop on Cybersecurity for Government Vehicles in Washington, DC, USA.

In the first two we both gave keynote presentations and also participated in cyber security panels. In addition, we demonstrated the Argus Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and got great market feedback.

Argus at CES 2015

We are happy to be collaborating with Magna International, one of the world’s biggest Tier-1, as we are joining them as their innovation partners for CES 2015.

At CES we’ll show how we’re able to compromise a vehicle’s critical systems by performing a real cyber attack. This demo is interactive! Visitors will have the opportunity to play the role of a hacker, hack the vehicle and control it remotely. We’ll then demonstrate how the Argus IPS is able to detect this attack, prevent it, and then through our cloud-based servers, make sure other cars are protected as well.

Visit our booth at Tech East LVCC, North Hall – 3932 for a live demonstration!
